Hi Julie! First of all, welcome to HAN! Secondly, let me introduce myself. My name is Curt Thackeray. I am directing a small commercial spot for a contest. It's the Doritos: Crash the Superbowl Ad contest. I'm trying to cast a 30's to 40's female to play the wife of a hairy guy. She suggests that he does something about his hairy problem. Eventually, the problem is solved in a rather hilarious way. (I can't reveal it's nature, until perhaps you sign on to the project, but since it's going to air nationally, it has to be clean).
I like your look, and think that you would be perfect for this role. You seem very friendly and outgoing. At least, judging by your pics you have posted. ;)
We have a very tight deadline. The video must be sent in by Nov. 21, so time is of the essence.
About compensation.. hmmm.. well, I'm personally working on it for free.. as well as a couple of crew members. If we were to win the contest, I'm sure that we would be more than happy to pay you the going daily rate for your time. But for now.. it would be an act of faith.. and for the love of working on a FUN project.
