Bio: Born and raised in Hawaii, Mathew is a young filmmaker who got his start in film and cinematography well before high school. Now a student of the University of Hawaii, he continues his education both in the classroom and in the field through Kinetic Productions, and the young upstart team known as Alter Ego. Over the past few years, Mathew has been a part of their growth and excitement, from the management and care for their Red One digital cinema camera, to working with their three directors, both technically and creatively. Through the adventure that has been Kinetic, he started as an intern in the office, and moved up the ranks to become the swiss army knife for all those little things. He has had a part in many of their projects, and some of his own. His most recent project has been the DP on the first music video with Natural Vibrations, one of the most successful musicians in Honolulu.
