Special Talent
I speak French, German & Spanish fluently, & have studied Japanese & Russian. I possess a Master of Science degree, in physics, from San José State University, CA. I was a math adjunct professor at HPU for 5 semesters. I have an I-Mac with 500 GB, & a 2.6 GHz MacBook, with FinalCut Pro. I've traveled 3 times around the world, & have been to 51 countries ( mostly Europe & the Far East ). Acting Experience: At an early age I was Hansel, in Hansel & Gretel, & I was in Babes in the Woods & Medea (the Greek classic) at the Eagle Club, in Wiesbaden, West Germany. My mother, an accomplished opera singer, played Media.I also played the "Headless Woman" & a gorilla in Ole Olsen's Hell-Za-Poppin, a comedy that was being performed in all of the US & Canadian military bases in West Germany at the time (late 50's & early 60's). In Sept. of 2009 I was an extra on Lost for 5 days, & also 1 day in January of 2010. In June of 2010 I had a small speaking role in the Indie movie " Standing in Water ", filmed in Ka'awa, & the following day ( a Friday) I was on Hawaii-5-O as an extra in a scene at the Honolulu International Airport. Recently I was cast as Claude Rivière, a reporter from " Le Figaro ", and Charlie, a gorgeous flunkey, in Mark Twain's play " Is He Dead ? "; which premiered on November 12 at the Paul and Vi Loo Theatre, on the windward campus of HPU, & had its final performances on Dec. 4 & Dec. 5, honored by standing ovations of an overjoyed audience. Charlie later revealed himself to be Inspector Gaston Monet of the Paris Police in this hilarious comedy of errors. I used a thick French accent in my 2 roles, & have a copy of the DVD that was recorded during one of the matinee shows. This play was directed by Joyce Maltby,of the drama department of HPU. Last year I studied C++ programming, general relativity, classical mechanics, Russian 2 & 3, quantum field theory, Java programming & graduate level cosmology at UH Manoa.
