Weren't you in the Namaste New Recruits pic standing next to me? Did you know that the pic sold for $7,000 at the Lost memorabilia online auction?!
It's great to have you apart of the Hawaii Sideshow Collective. As a palm and card reader you are carrying on a lost art. HSC mission is to keep these historical and classic arts alive through performance and education. Much like word of mouth story telling; if one were to stop telling the story, it would be gone forever.
I can see that you do this professionally. I am mostly in this for the performance and the historical Americana, and yes it would be great to pay the bills and still be an artist. Palm and card reading would make a great sister accompaniment to the shows with your own personal creative area. If you know of anyone, I am still looking for more stage performers in the classic arts of the sideshow to develop a performing troupe. I do not know if there is a demand for this type of show in Hawaii or if there are any other artists here, it's starting to look like I'm the only one. One by one I am sure that a troupe will be formed and gain recognition. After all "The only show in town, is the best show in town".
At the moment I am developing and writing to bring about a one man show and I may have a venue to educate others of the dieing arts and to start this movement. Probably during break time of my friend's regular band performance, just have to talk with them about it this weekend. And maybe I can score a couple of beers or save tips to buy a straight jacket I so desperately need.
Thanks again for joining and supporting the classic arts.
