Your demo for Parkour/Free running in now up on Hawaii Stunt Performers.
Thanks for the link.
You want to curate the Hawaii Stunt Enthusiast FaceBook page? I think it's a good idea.
I've been telling a lot of people about you and HPK that I have met on set interested in furthering their stunt passions.
Let me know if you guys have a weekend jam session in my area (Kaimuki, UH Manoa, Waikiki). When I use to check out what was going on at HPK it was always out of my area or "open session: location - unspecified". I've been wanting to check out that spot between me and Diamond Head, but last time I went out I could not find it.
See ya around.
The only classes and training facilities I have found (posted on HSP) are actually straight from the HPK website. You might not know it, but I have always considered HPK as a stunt training community and you as a teacher. I think that you should introduce yourself and about parkour (90% of people do not know what it is) to everyone apart of Hawaii Stunt Performers. They are looking for some form of training and can not find it on the island. I've been telling them that this is greatest and truest stunt training and conditioning there is! I mean really; you are doing stunts while training. I made sure to put parkour on the top of my resume when I sent it to the stunt coordinator for Pirates of the Caribbean 4 (filming now on Oahu). I'm seeing a lot more parkour used in the industry as more people become aware of it.
HPK inspired me to get out there, get fit, and condition myself for any stunt I may come across. I just started parkour a year ago and It's been a while since I've been out. Been very busy getting my circus sideshow together for debut. Guess I'm not that fit anymore.
Thanks again for joining. It's great to have you apart of the community.
I have been promoting Parkour and HPK to the stunt community as a great discipline for training and conditioning. Feel free to use this networking group to spread the word.
