  Aloha! My name is Jess Bryden. For the past decade I have worked in Los Angeles as an editor, director and visual effects supervisor on countless films and television productions. I moved to Oahu last year to pursue writing and directing a feature film called “Spirit of Fire”. I am shooting a low-budget trailer and several complete scenes to help facilitate the sale of the film, after which time I will be returning here to film the complete feature.

  (Note: This is a paid gig.)

  I am holding auditions on Monday from 9AM to 5PM at the YMCA in Honolulu at the following address:

  1441 Pali Highway
  Honolulu,  96813

  The film shoot is scheduled for August 10^th-14^th.

  I would be honored if you would come and read for the part of:

  Gualtiero Monagas – (45-65, Male) The leader of a gang of guerilla fighters called Serpiente Oscura.  He is ruthless and cutthroat in his leadership and his army of guerillas is staging a coup d'état. Monagas is cold and calculating in his tactics, but a charmer around his troops. In the war he has become a symbol of the people, standing up against the tyrannical dictatorship of Cervantes, the president. Monagas is a warrior at heart and grew up in the jungles. He views the city and the war as just another jungle to conquer.
